Artist and writer Matthew Johnstone, a sufferer himself, has written and illustrated this insight into what it is like to have a Black Dog as a companion. Matthew Johnstone is an artist, writer and exhibited photographer. New Zealand born, he's worked in advertising in Sydney, San Francisco and New York. He now resides in Sydney with his wife and daughter.
